The Lupuna Tree
Forest Bathing "Lupuna"
The Amazon, also known as "The Lungs of the Earth", is the world's largest rainforest and is home to an incredible variety of plants and animals. At the heart of this majestic ecosystem stands the imposing Lupuna tree, a symbol of strength and endurance.
The Lupuna tree is one of the largest trees in the Amazon region and can reach heights of over 70 metres. Its mighty roots reach deep into the ground and its spreading branches extend far across the jungle. The Lupuna tree is revered as sacred by the indigenous peoples of the Amazon and is regarded as a link between heaven and earth. High up in its canopy grows 'the Queen of the Night' – a unique flower renowned for its striking beauty and enchanting fragrance. The flower opens only once a year and remains open for just one night before wilting again. This rare natural phenomenon fascinates people all over the world and is often regarded as a symbol of beauty, transience and mystery.
Immerse yourself in the world of the Amazon and let yourself be enchanted by the splendour of the Lupuna tree. Feel a deep connection with nature and be inspired by the beauty and abundance of the rainforest. The Amazon and the Lupuna tree are waiting to be discovered by you – a journey full of wonders and emotions.
The Breath of the Earth
Breathing Planet
Satellite data becomes art; science becomes emotion. Forests, oceans and living structures come to life, allowing us to experience the breath of our planet.
Breathing Planet invites you not only to see the rhythm of nature, but to feel it. Based on real global wind data, which moves gently and has been transformed into a visual landscape, a sensory representation of our living planet emerges. It is a striking rhythm that we all share, even if we often do not consciously perceive it. Wind as the breath of the Earth – flowing, sustaining, invisible and yet full of energy. In nature, the wind is a constant companion that stirs forests, shapes clouds and influences the climate. In many cultures, it is regarded as a symbol of the breath of life – of change, freedom and connectedness.
Enjoy this quiet moment of mindfulness, which connects you with yourself and the world around you.
