Ceremonies, rituals, herbal essences, and relaxing sounds create a unique atmosphere. International sauna masters will transport you into the world of the art of infusion, while harmonious scents and soothing aromas pamper your senses, body, and mind. An experience that connects you – with nature and with yourself.
During the Herbarium Festival, the entire spa becomes a place of pure naturalness. This unique event brings a new sauna and wellness experience to Germany. While the sauna is filled with the aromas of thyme, hops, and rosemary, the meditative sounds of handpan players create an atmosphere of deep relaxation.

Guest infusion specialists and artists from all over the world come to the Euskirchen thermal baths for the Herbarium Festival. In addition, our shamans Franziska and Karsten will be our guests and will inspire you with ancient rituals.

In this 35-minute treatment, Benoit from Belgium presents an intensive program based on the theme of oak. The use of oak tassels, various herbs, and targeted hot and cold stimuli effectively stimulates the cardiovascular system. The combination of natural exfoliants and vigorous temperature changes invigorates the body and increases physical performance.
In this session, Nicolas from Norway explores the acoustic and aromatic backdrop of the Amazon jungle. The program combines indigenous songs with the use of distinctive natural scents. Aromatic smoke is used to create an immersive atmosphere that provides direct insight into the cultural characteristics of this region.
Marius from Lithuania leads this group hammam, which combines classic soap treatments with an intensive foot scrub. The scrub mixture used, consisting of salt, cayenne pepper, ginger, and rosemary, stimulates blood circulation in the feet. Combined with steam and carefully selected aromas, this creates a comprehensive regeneration program for the entire musculoskeletal system.
With this infusion, Erwin from Belgium brings his competition program from the 2024 Herbal Cup to the spa. The treatment is based on the use of birch broth and extracts from thuja and red forest fruit. The finale is the use of aged spruce smoke, which completes the complex forestry scent profile of this Latvian-inspired ceremony.
